We are delighted to host a banquet on Wednesday evening, August 18, at 6 PM in the Field Museum's spectacular Stanley Field Hall (main floor), with gleaming white marble, vaulted ceilings, and gracious columns. Dine among the two African elephants prepared by famed taxidermist Carl Akeley, large hanging gardens and flying pterosaurs, and Máximo the Titanosaur.

This will be a 3-course, served sit-down dinner. The planned main course will be Pan Roasted Lake Superior Whitefish or Stuffed Peppers (vegan option if requested in advance). All registered participants have been contacted to confirm banquet participation and communicate dietary restrictions. The caterer will do its best to accommodate your restrictions.

You are encouraged to stay after the banquet for a Karaoke event – a Metsoc tradition.
