We are delighted to be able to host a banquet on Wednesday evening, August 18, in the Field Museum's spectacular Stanley Field Hall, with gleaming white marble, vaulted ceilings, and gracious columns. Dine among the two African elephants prepared by famed taxidermist Carl Akeley, large hanging gardens and flying pterosaurs, and Máximo the Titanosaur.
Before the banquet, on Wednesday afternoon, you can participate in guided behind-the-scences tours of the Field Museum's meteorite and fossil collections. Space is limited so sign up now.
On August 18, your Metsoc meeting badge gives you access to the Field Museum exhibits so you can enjoy the museum on your own.
